Great community space. The park is nice and shaded during the summer. The community center and lazy river are right next door. There are also tennis courts nearby.
Warrensburg Parks and Recreation maintains a beautiful park with great play equipment. Restrooms are usually clean. Shelters can be reserved for parties.
Best spot for bbq and family time.
I like this park but if you have small children, stay away from it from 3:00 pm to about 5:00 pm on weekdays. Middle schoolers and some high schoolers use this park as a hangout, and drug deals, vandalism, swearing, and other inappropriate happenings occur here daily. Of course, I'm not one to tell you how to parent your children, but this is just a heads-up to all of the parents out there.
The great big trees with squirrels are fun to watch. The kids like the play structure, but they are drawn to the bridge and water run off ditch. Who wouldn't be? I like the water fountain that sprays out of control! It's a good place to get dirty and play.
