I had my first visit today. I found both Dr. Purcell and Melissa, his assistant to be very personable, knowledgeable, and highly competent. Scheduling was easy and quick, no wait time in the office, and VERY affordable. I believe I had more face time with Dr. Purcell than I have had with other dentists. From leaving my office through my return (I walked AND stopped for a coffee on the way back) was less than an hour.
I am a big chicken when it comes to dentists, so some of the other reviews gave me concern. However, I personally know a long time patient and went based on her recommendation. I'm very glad I did!
I have been a patient of Dr. Purcell's for 24 years. He is honest and caring and helpful. I moved away from Warrensburg and have tried to find an honest and capable dentist in the Kansas City area and what I and we find are dentists who prey on patients. I am going back to Purcell because he is the only "honest" dentist I have found.
I highly recommend Dr. Purcell and his assistant. They are very clean, professional and have an amazing sense of humor. They went above and beyond to help me when I was having tooth pain and had just recently filled a severe cavity my 9yr old daughter had. We couldn't be happier with their work and professionalism and have found our family dentist..

Very sweet and attentive people! Least painful filling I've ever had!! Both times I've gone they got me in the chair before I could sit down in the waiting room :O I will be going back.
Patient, kind, and caring. He knows I have an all consuming fear of dentistry and he just handles it. Melissa is a riot and very good at her job. Would recommend this practice to everyone.
