3 of our party had the top sirloin steak and the chef was spot on for perfect temperature of medium hot pink center...melt in your mouth tender! The fried potato salad is awesome as well as the toast. Our waitress was great once she got used to my husband's wise cracks. This is our pick of place to eat when we come to the Burg to visit our daughter. Look forward to coming again!!! Keep up the great food and service.
Amazing service! Great prices! Incredible food! It was hard to decide what to order...it ALL sounded so good! Definitely going back whenever we're in Warrensburg!
We hadn’t been to Players for years and decided to make the extra drive to revisit one of our favorite places years ago. Sunday night dinner, so they weren’t overly busy. We were seated right away and our drink and appetizer orders were taken promptly. The appetizers took 30 minutes to come out, but were really good. Our dinners took another 30 minutes to come out and the ribeye I ordered looked much more like a strip. I happened to be with a cattle farmer and he also thought it was a strip. We were told it was just the cut. The steak was definitely not the cut, texture or marbling of a ribeye. Unfortunately it was overcooked and just not a god piece of meet despite the “sterling silver” rating they advertised. Overall a good experience other than the steak. Everyone else’s meals were great! Will visit again!
Good food overall. The calamari wasn't that good. I had the shrimp cocktail & a salad. They were both very good. My husband had a reuben, he liked it. My dad had the Gyros, they were very generous with the meat, good value for the price & delicious! My mom had soup & she enjoyed it. So, overall, good but wouldn't recommend the calamari.
